Bilic stated that the Senegal international is ruled out of the game at the Olympic Stadium owing to a back injury he picked up against Burnley last weekend.

West Ham 6/1 to win 2-0

Sakho was a second half substitute for Chicharito in the Hammers 1-1 draw at the Turf Moor and the boss has assured of a possible return when West Ham United visit Wembley for their English League Cup fixture against Tottenham Spurs on Wednesday.

“We have a couple that are out because of injury,” Bilic told club website.

“James Collins is out for a matter of days and Sakho has back pain. He didn’t train since Burnley so he’s out of Friday’s game.

“They [Sakho and Collins] could both be back for the Spurs game.”

Sakho has scored just a goal in seven league outings for the Hammers who are placed 15th in the English top-flight log with eight points from eight games.
