GAME PREVIEW

Their defeat to United last weekend ended a run of seven consecutive wins on home turf for Arsenal, and Wenger relied on a stoppage-time equaliser from Olivier Giroud to steal a point from Southampton in the following game.

The draw on the south coast highlighted the Gunners’ patchy away form — Wenger’s side have picked up just two wins from eight on the road, against Burnley and Everton.

Against no side have Arsenal won more away Premier League games than they have against West Ham, however, with their 12 victories the same number against both Everton and Aston Villa.

Wednesday’s clash will be West Ham’s 100th home London derby in the Premier League — they’ve won 36 of their previous 99, drawn 22 and lost 41 — and Moyes will be hopeful of making the occasion with a win.
