Vasek Pospisil of Canada and Jack Sock of the US, who had beaten India’s Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani partner Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi in the first round, beat Paes and Stepanek 6-1, 4-6, 10-8 in the $4,017,355 hard court event on Wednesday night.
Paes and Stepanek had received a bye in the first round.
