Western Michigan went on to pull out a 71-68 victory. The contest was only the fourth game in FBS history to go into seven extra periods.
Regardless, it looks as if Ernsberger will be able to hold this over his sister’s head for quite a while — but perhaps not as long if she had cost them the game.
