But there’s one disclaimer: The Dog Show will also have cats, and to some that is far from OK.

The cats won’t actually be in the show. They’ll instead be featured in the Meet the Breeds event at Piers 92 and 94 in New York on Saturday, when fans can pet and play with the animals.
Sunday will feature the Masters Agility Championship where the dogs will run and jump through obstacles. Monday morning starts the real show as the judging for the hound, toy, non-sporting and herding groups begin. The sporting, working and terrier groups will be judged on Tuesday morning before Best in Show is awarded that night.
Traditionally the Westminster Dog Show was shown on USA Network, but last year was on Fox Sports. This year will be on a combination of online streaming and traditional TV channels FS1, FOX Sports Go and Nat Geo Wild.
