The world’s No.1 golfer, Rory McIlroy, missed the cut last week at the Honda Classic, his first PGA Tour event of the season, and he sounds motivated to redeem himself at Doral.
“Yeah, I’m pissed off,” McIlroy said. “I don’t like missing cuts. You want to be playing on the weekend, and I’m not there.”
Rory is the clear favorite to win this week’s WGC event, opening at 5-to-1 odds at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.
There are a group of four 15-to-1 players behind him on the odds board – Bubba Watson, Jason Day, Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson.
